These lovely first-time parents just welcomed their baby girl about four weeks ago and are looking for a nanny to start in mid-July. They are open to live-in OR live-out and would prefer a candidate with at least 7 years of infant care experience. Dad is a physician and Mom is an attorney—both have demanding careers outside the home. Bonus points if you speak Spanish or Akan! These languages are a "nice to have", but not a requirement. Mom had a nanny growing up and she's looking forward to her child having that special nanny-child relationship.
The family would love to meet a warm, kind, and experienced nanny, especially someone who has extensive experience with newborns under five months old. A minimum of 7 years is required. Candidates must be fully vaccinated and current on all boosters, including (but not limited to) COVID, Tdap, flu (okay to receive this next season), and MMR. They're hoping to find someone who genuinely wants to become part of their lives and stay with the family for years to come. Bonus points if you speak Spanish or Akan. If you're considering a live-in role, you'd have your own beautiful, south-facing room and share a bathroom with the baby.
Monday through Thursday, 7 AM to 6 PM (approximate). The family is happy to guarantee 44 hours/week. Flexibility to stay later on some evenings, until 7 PM, is appreciated.
Baby, girl: Born in March of 2025, she's currently combo feeding, and Mom and Dad plan to sleep train her ASAP. They're still getting to know her!
Primary duties include direct care for the baby—feeding, bathing, and general care—along with light housekeeping related to her. The family is also looking for someone who can engage their daughter in age-appropriate, enriching activities.
This position doesn’t require heavy travel. Vaccinations are non-negotiable. The position will be paid on the books—no exceptions. Experienced candidates are welcome to apply with a higher rate.
