RBT/BCBA/Special Education ROTA Nanny needed in Menlo Park, CA. $55-90/hr

Overview

A warm, private family in Menlo Park is seeking a full-time rotational (ROTA) nanny, for a 7 days on and 7 days off schedule, to care for their young autistic and non verbal child. An RBT, BCBA, or a four-year or master’s degree in special education is absolutely required, as is solid experience in high-profile homes. The family is seeking someone who can shares their household’s family values and who is well-established in their career working with autistic or special needs children.

The Ideal Candidate for this Job

An RBT, BCBA, or a four-year or master’s degree in special education is absolutely required, as is solid experience in high-profile homes. The family is also looking for a candidate that can swim and will feel comfortable with the child in the water. The family welcomes candidates that have a strong background and confidence working with a severely autistic school aged child that is non verbal. They would also love to work with a candidate that has strong moral and ethical family values that align with their own.

Schedule

Full-Time ROTA schedule (seven days on and seven days off with exact schedule TBD)

About the Children

School Aged Child, Girl: Non Verbal and Autistic. She does best with caregivers that are flexible, kind, and creative.

Responsibilities

You will work on team, alongside another rotational nanny and with other members of the household staff. Responsibilities include all care related to the child.

Additional Information

The family is open to meeting candidates in California or other areas that are commutable. You must have three verifiable references that we can call, have had in-person CPR and First Aid training within the past two years, hold a RBT, BCBA, or a four-year or master’s degree in special education, and be able to swim.
