This lovely UES family welcomed their first baby in October and she's a real cutie! They've been working with a newborn care specialist since she arrived and are now looking to hire their first nanny. Mom goes back to work in early March and they'd like to get started in mid-February with an experienced infant nanny who is excited to grow with their family. Mom and Dad often work from home, but will be on a different floor. This is truly a position not to be missed. They're offering an extremely generous tax free monthly heath care stipend on top of the hourly rate. There is no heavy travel, though they might consider bringing their nanny on family vacations that don't last more than one week or so. They have a small, elderly dog but no care for her is needed. This position is paid on the books, no exceptions.
Mom and Dad are looking to work with an experienced infant nanny that has prior experience with all the developmental milestones that come along in the first few years, particularly when it comes to setting a sleep schedule, transitioning to solids, etc. They're ideally looking to partner with a nanny who can help guide them. They're also looking for a nanny who is excited to grow with their family for years to come. They do have a small dog who is 18 years old. No care is needed for her and she sticks close by to Mom and Dad, so interaction will be limited.
The family is offering a 40 hour/week guarantee. However most weeks, the schedule will be: Monday/Thursday/Friday: 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM Tues/Wed: 9 AM to 6 PM Any hours you work above the 40 hour/week guarantee will be overtime, paid at 1.5 x the hourly rate
