SHORT-TERM, LIVE-IN NANNY: Summer in the Hamptons! Newborn and Toddler

Overview

This lovely returning family from Dubai will arrive in June and leave mid-August. They are looking to hire two live-in nannies - one for their infant who will be three months, and one for their eldest son, who will be 2.5 years old. They're looking for candidates who can drive and swim, ideally.

The Ideal Candidate for this Job

The family is seeking two nannies: one for the toddler, who will ideally have experience with toddlers, and one for the baby, who will ideally have experience with babies. The nannies will have their own rooms. A non-smoker is required. Ideally, candidates will be able to drive and swim. Beyond that, they'd love to find active, adventurous, and engaging candidates, particularly those who have a go-with-the-flow approach. They will have other family members coming in and out, so being comfortable with that is essential.

Schedule

The exact schedule is TBD, but will include time off, daily breaks, and full rest periods. Each nanny will have their own room. We'll work with you on a contract that makes sense for your needs and gives you the ability to do your best work!

About the Children

Boy, 2.5 years old: an extremely friendly and outgoing toddler (he will be 2.5 years during summer). He loves to read books with his caregiver, play various ball sports, and is extremely chatty and curious about people and the world. He mostly feeds himself but needs help to stay focused and seated, otherwise he is pretty independent. Overall they are hoping to have him be more outdoors this summer than he can be in Dubai, and let out some of that fun toddler energy! Newborn Baby: Will be three months old when care begins in the Hamptons!

Additional Information

Candidates should have: Demonstrated experience with the age groups Two to three professional child care references that can be called and verified i9 compliance (proof of ability to work in the US) In-person CPR certification and First Aid Up-to-date vaccines (tdap, covid, flu) You must be non smoking. Ideally candidates will be comfortable driving and swimming (i.e. the ability to save a child's life in the pool in addition to comfort in the water).
