This Midtown Manhattan single dad is looking for a consistent, skilled, and dependable part-time sitter for his 8-month-old son, Monday through Friday evenings. With a demanding work schedule, he values reliability, initiative, and someone who can confidently manage the evening routine. This is a great role for a caregiver who enjoys structured infant care and building consistency week to week.
You have strong infant experience and feel confident managing feeding schedules, reflux considerations, bath time, and bedtime routines. You are organized, consistent, and comfortable using tracking apps. You understand the importance of structure and routine in an infant’s development and can provide calm, attentive care each evening.
Mondays through Fridays, 6 PM - 10 PM each day.
Boy, 8 months: An infant who follows a consistent feeding and sleep routine. He takes a bottle every 2–3 hours and has been experiencing some acid reflux, so attentive feeding and monitoring are important. Dad tracks sleep and feedings using the Huckleberry app and would like the sitter to log updates there as well.
Pick up the child from daycare at 6:00pm and manage the full evening routine through bedtime. Warm pre-prepared bottles (formula containers will be ready), feed every 2–3 hours as needed, and log feedings and sleep in the Huckleberry app. Provide attentive care with awareness of acid reflux. Bath time is typically Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (as needed). Child-related laundry 2–3 times per week is appreciated, along with maintaining tidy child spaces. Stroller outings are not necessary for new caregivers.
Dad is transitioning the baby to pure formula. Bottles will be prepped in advance and only need warming. Comfort using the Huckleberry app is required.
