NEWBORN CARE SPECIALIST: 3 to 4 nights per week in Santa Monica, California!

Overview

This wonderful Santa Monica family welcomed baby number 3 a few months ago. They've been working with a wonderful NCS whose contract is up in mid May but the family could still use some extra help. They're looking for a Newborn Care Specialist or experienced Infant Nanny comfortable working nights, 3 to 4 nights per week, helping them get some rest.

The Ideal Candidate for this Job

The ideal candidate will have experience as a Newborn Care Specialist or be an experienced Infant Nanny, have three references we can call and verify, and be able to provide proof of updated vaccines. Ideal candidates will also have completed updated CPR and first aid training, with a test administered by an instructor (in-person or via Zoom).

Schedule

Ideally Sunday through Wednesday (nights only), or Sunday/Monday/Wednesday/Thursday (nights only) 9 PM to 6 AM or thereabouts. They're open and flexible though, so please list what you're available to do.

About the Children

The family has two older boys, 7 and 4. The NCS will not be responsible for any care for them and will only work with their newborn at night.

Responsibilities

This is the family's third baby, so educating parents and giving guidance will be minimal, however if you have any tips to share, they're all ears. Otherwise, responsibilities will be standard and will include baby-related including feeding and organizing and maintaining the nursery and all supplies.

Additional Information

This position is in Santa Monica, California. You'll need to show proof of your ability to work legally in the United States, have three references, proof of vaccinations, and have an up-to-date CPR certification that was approved by an instructor.
